Testimonials
Coach Kerry has helped my skating tremendously. She works with me at 7 in the morning multiple times a week to lengthen my stride, my 3 quick steps to assist me to reach top my top speed, pivoting in uncomfortable positions and so much more. Working with Coach Kerry has made me faster and ready for almost every situation that happens on the ice. Coach Kerry has helped my game as coaches have noticed how much my skating has improved and working with her was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
ANTHONY MANDRAVELLOS- Junior at MIDDLESEX PREP.
Kerry is an amazing coach who truly understands what fundamentals every individual skater must work on. She helped me improve my edge work, my ability to transition and maintain speed, and with explosive starts. She has done a fantastic job keeping me in shape and on the ice during the offseason. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

As a 6'6" defenseman, I draw a bit of attention. But at the beginning of my last year of junior hockey, college coaches were turning me down due to my skating. That was when I started working with Kerry. She worked with me three times per week on my edge work and foot speed. She always explains what I am doing wrong and what I can do to fix the problem. Since I started working with Kerry, I have gotten many compliments on how much my skating has improved and I have committed to play NCAA division III hockey at St Olaf College in Minnesota. Kerry has done a great job working with me and I would not be where I'm at without her help.

I have known Kerry Togneri for many years and first observed her teaching when she was working with my own children. I have always been impressed with her emphasis on technique and insistence on mastering a skill before progressing to the next. She isn’t looking for a quick fix, but trying to establish a base skill set with which to develop a player’s overall game.
She is always hungry to learn and is constantly reaching out to coaches and teachers to help her become even more effective at what she already does so well. She is passionate and committed to helping players improve and I recommend her highly.
JACK ARENA, AMHERST COLLEGE HEAD HOCKEY COACH
During my final year of junior hockey, I was fortunate enough to have Coach Kerry as a skating instructor. She worked with my hockey team three times per week and I couldn’t help but notice how my skating vastly improved. She worked with us on edges, footspeed, and conditioning. She taught us ways to make us quicker and stronger on our skates through use of bungie cords, parachutes, and cones. While being an excellent motivator and always pushing us to get better, she would identify our skating weaknesses and prescribe methods for improvement. After working with Kerry for a couple weeks, every detail she taught seemed to become second nature for me and started showing up in games. I am very thankful that I got the chance to work with her, seeing that she taught me so much. I would not be the player I am without her assistance. I believe working with her helped me to get a college commitment to SUNY Morrisville.
JOHN KASPER, SUNY Morrisville
I was very fortunate to play Division I Hockey at The University Of Minnesota Duluth. During my time in Minnesota, I worked with various elite coaches that helped optimize my game. After my college career, I met Coach Kerry while running a hockey clinic with her. It wasn’t long before I approached her asking if she could help me with my own skating. Coach Kerry gave me the opportunity to continue working with elite-class coaching. She helped me pursue my dream of becoming a professional hockey player and pushed me to become a stronger, faster, and smarter skater. She pushed me to the limit each and every session so I could reach my full potential. Not only is Coach Kerry an extremely knowledgeable skating skills coach, but she also pays attention to the details, the details that can make a big difference in a player’s game. I can’t thank you enough Coach Kerry.

Her experience and knowledge about teaching how to skate makes her different than others coaches… What always impresses me about Coach Kerry is her PASSION about teaching power skating. She can teach a little kid 4 years old and then the next session she will be with a junior player 19 years old…
COACH FRENCHY, Florida Panther Youth Organization
When young hockey players eagerly skate with a coach that usually does not include sticks and pucks in the lesson, you know the coach is something special. It’s hard enough for a coach with sticks, pucks, cones, nets and other devices to keep young boys engaged for an hour. Coach Kerry does so using only her personality, skill, and experience, and she does so with great success. My sons, now ages 12 and 13, are avid hockey players, and have skated with Coach Kerry for years. The boys enjoy her lessons. Most importantly, she has helped them both improve their skating skills, which has translated into improved hockey skills. I have watched her coach boys and girls much younger, and much older, and the results are always the same. Our only regret is that we can’t find more time for our boys to work with her! My family recommends Coach Kerry highly, and without reservation.
MARC A. WITES, ON BEHALF OF ASHER - FLORIDA ALLIANCE
Cody started skating with Coach Kerry about 3 years ago when he was 9 years old. He was fairly new to ice hockey but picked it up quickly. Within the 2 years she has made his skating numerous levels better and therefore he continues to improve. She is patient and embraces each child’s personalities. Cody has gained so much confidence when he is on the ice.
Not only does Coach Kerry help with skating but is always giving pointers on how to be a better player with eating, sleeping and off ice workout habits. She is always looking out for their best interests.
SLOANE ZAMAT ON BEHALF OF CODY, 12 YEARS OLD
Working with Coach Kerry has definitely improved my foot speed and impacted my ability to get on my edges. She's helped me take my skating to a new level.
ELI BROWN - FLORIDA ALLIANCE
Despite a late start in ice hockey at age 11, after two years of weekly training with Coach Kerry in hockey skating techniques, my daughter Isabel's skating and playing abilities have risen dramatically allowing her to anticipate enjoying active participation in this sport at the high school level. Coach Kerry's unusual and creative training techniques address the athletic needs and anatomic challenges of growing teenagers as well as the very specific biomechanical demands of ice hockey in ways that are largely underemphasized or overlooked in traditional hockey training programs. Training with Coach Kerry has provided Isabel her most meaningful and effective platform for her personal development in this sport so far.
